Meine Überlegungen: Christoph, George, Auguste und Michael sind Kinder von Martin Zegnotat. Christine Wallys war mit einem Zegnotat verheiratet. Das Alter von Martin passt zu ihrem Alter. Beim Tod von Martin 1841 gab es 5 unmündige Kinder, d.h. jünger als 21 Jahre alt. Beim Tod von Christine 1844 gab es noch 2 unmündige Kinder. Also sind zwei Kinder nach dem 21. Dez 1823 geboren und sie war beim letzten Kind mindestens 47 Jahre alt. Zusätzlich sind 3 Kindern zwischen 1820 und 1823 geboren. Das ist alles soweit stimmig. Gegen eine weitere Generation zwischen Martin/Christine und deren Kindern spricht auch, dass es keine passenden Kirchenbucheinträge gibt. Alle Zegnotat sind in Linnawen geboren, aber es gibt dort keine weitere Zegnotat Familie. Zusätzlich müsste es eigentlich noch eine Tochter nach Auguste gegeben haben, da der Heiratseintrag von der "dritten Tochter" spricht und nicht wie sonst üblich der "jüngsten Tochter". Nach allem Überlegen scheint sie also wirklich die Kinder sehr alt bekommen zu haben. Oder die Todesangabe im Kirchenbuch mit 67 Jahren ist schlicht falsch und es muss z.B. 57 heißen. -------- She gave birth to the last child Rosine in 1831, apparently at the age of 53/4. Since that is somewhat doubtful, I thought for a long time about whether that is really correct. But I do believe so. My reasoning: Christoph, George, Auguste, and Michael are children of Martin Zegnotat. Christine Wallys was married to a Zegnotat. Martin's age matches her age. When Martin died in 1841, there were 5 minor children, meaning they were younger than 21 years old. When Christine died in 1844, there were still 2 minor children. So, two children were born after December 21, 1823, and she was at least 47 years old when the last child was born. Additionally, three children were born between 1820 and 1823. That all makes sense. There is also no reason to assume another generation between Martin/Christine and their children, as there are no appropriate church records to suggest that. All Zegnotat are born in Linnawen but all belong to this family. Furthermore, there should have been another daughter after Auguste, because the marriage entry speaks of the "third daughter" and not, as is usually the case, the "youngest daughter." After all my considerations, it seems she really did have the children at a very old age.
